As a product of Generation Y, creativity is second nature to me. Being creative gives me an outlet to unleash my imagination and let my brain run wild. I value the artistic aspect of public relations because it allows me to showcase and implement any ideas that I may have. 

 

APPEAL

Appeal plays an important role in public relations. Executives use different appeal tactics to shape how a consumer views a product or service. I would love to get into the mind of a consumer and find out what is appealing to them. Whether conducting a focus group or creating content for surveys, I'm interested to explore different realms of appeal and create PR campaigns that will appeal to target audiences. 

 

RANGE

Because of my internship and work experience, I feel like I can reach a variety of audiences through public relations. I believe I have the skills to create an effective message that is versatile across different demographics without running into waste coverage. 

 

EDGE

Every PR practitioner (or aspiring PR practitioner like myself) has a unique characteristic that sets themselves apart from the others. Through my academic career, I've discovered skills I never knew existed. As a budding PR professional, I'm excited to explore other skills and find my niche!

 

SOCIAL MEDIA CAMPAIGN CREATION & EXECUTION

I have created social media campaigns for multiple organizations using Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, Tumblr and Pinterest. Being that this is the digital age, it is imperative that every company has social media representation. However, the problem isn't creating social media accounts, it's knowing how to utilize these mediums correctly and efficiently.

 

MEDIA KIT CREATION

A company or organization's media kit can give you lots of valuable information and insight. You have to make sure that all of your key points are conveyed using the right content and format. I have created media kits that included press releases, media alerts, brochures, fact sheets, social media releases and position papers. 

 

PR CAMPAIGN CREATION & EXECUTION

A PR campaign says wonders about your brand. It serves as a tool to reinvent a company or product, and it can serve as a reaction to a company crisis. Campaigns will always play a vital role in the world of public relations, and I've had the privilege of creating and executing campaigns for a number of businesses.

 

CONTENT CREATION

We all know media placement is extremely important in public relations. In order for your work to be seen by the masses, you must be able to pitch and write excellent stories. I can create content that will be picked up by blogs, newspapers, magazines and television stations.

 

EVENT PROPOSAL CREATION

Behind every successful event, there's an extensive event proposal. I have created event proposals for various internships and organizations.
